Fruit Flapjacks
If you're the strict sort, substitute extra syrup for the honey.
4oz margerine
2 tbls golden syrup
3oz jumbo oats
3oz SR flour
4oz crushed cornflakes
2oz golden sultanas
1 tbsp honey
Melt the marge, syrup and honey in a pan.
Mix the dry ingredients in a large bowl. Add the melted gloop, and mix well.
Pour it all into a greased 12" tray.
Bake at gas mark 5 / 160 C for 15-20 mins until golden.
Allow it to cool in the tin for a few mins, then score with a knife. Give it a few more mins to harden, then lift out onto a wire rack to cool.
You will nibble it before it's cool.
